Galaxy Fund Management

Back before the frothy days of crypto, Galaxy Fund Management hired us to create a new visual identity and messaging strategy. The new visual identity needed to inspire trust, feel sophisticated and be authoritative while nodding to the innovative yet nascent cryptocurrency vanguard without alienating traditional investors. We needed to that balance legitimacy with institutional investors while standing out in an increasingly crowded digital asset market.

Inspiration

Inspired by the aniconism of Islamic religious patterns, our logomark is rooted in ancient sacred geometry. The Moors used patterns to convey mathematical beauty in its purest form, and to honor God as the geometer of our world and our place within the cosmos. These patterns abstractly render the night’s sky in a conscious nod to our name, ‘Galaxy.’

Graphic Illustration

We used modernist, geometric shape-and-line illustrations to abstractly express both the beauty of blockchain and the beauty of the cosmos.
