Jonathan Campo is an award-winning creative leader and crustacean enthusiast based in Brooklyn.

Born and raised in New Orleans the son of a Cuban refugee, Jonathan spent his formative years drawing, noodling on cheap guitars, and painting murals of local hip hop stars on the sides of inner city record stores.

He now lives and works in Brooklyn. What does he do besides write about himself on his web site? A few things.

He’s a creative director with over 18+ years of eclectic experience. He’s worked on integrated campaigns for enormous corporate clients. He’s crafted new brand identities for tiny, three-employee start-up clients. He’s worked on all kinds of business verticals, on every imaginable flavor of deliverable at a verifiable smorgasbord of top notch agency acronyms.

Most recently, he was the Creative Director of Roman – the men's health unicorn. There, he led the creative team through many integrated campaigns, large commercial productions, new product launches, in-store activations, a brand identity revamp, a major MLB partnership and a serious volume of evergreen performance collateral.

Before that, he co-founded a boutique creative agency in Brooklyn called Gravy Boat Regatta where he has served as a managing partner and creative director.

When he’s not making award-winning creative work, he’s usually painting, making a silly animation, attempting to entertain his toddler or cooking up some kind of spicy creole thing with an irresponsible amount of butter. He could write more about himself. But that’s rude.

Email him if you want to ask him more questions and/or encourage him to continue to write overwrought Yelp reviews. He’s very susceptible to flattery.
